1 Make records in the process of prepress design and production

in the work, we often encounter such a situation: a designer cannot complete the production document for some reasons, and another designer is required to continue to complete it, which is prone to some deviations. It is mainly because each designer has different working methods and habits, which leads to mistakes in work connection

to avoid the above problems, the author requires each designer to make a detailed record of the important steps in making live parts. In particular, it involves the operation of color and dot size adjustment, so that another designer can see it at a glance when taking over his work. At the same time, the author also encourages designers to record some tips in their work, and then organize everyone to exchange and learn from each other after a period of time, which can greatly improve the working level of designers

2. In the process of film production, attention should be paid to the information marking

once. The plate making personnel of the company took the circular exposure film as the flat exposure for plate printing. As a result, this batch of live parts were scrapped due to the wrong printing step. At that time, the author carefully analyzed the reasons and believed that this was mainly due to the chaotic management of film by printing enterprises. Many printing enterprises often do not mark any relevant information when producing films before printing. When it is necessary to remake plates, it is difficult to remember the relevant information of films, and it is easy to make mistakes

therefore, the author stipulates that relevant personnel must mark the detailed information on the edge of the film, including the name of the live part, color (CMYK, spot color), exposure method (flat exposure, round exposure), etc. in accordance with the experimental method standards required in 9.2): gb/t 228 (2) 010, gb/t 14452 (9) 3, gb/t 7314 (2) 005. Since then, plate makers have never used the wrong film to make plates again. Of course, printing enterprises can also require relevant personnel to record other information according to their actual situation

3. Record the parameters of the printing process

in order to ensure the normal production of 24 hours in the peak season, some printing enterprises usually allocate two printing personnel. The author once encountered a printing staff who lost the plate due to poor exposure time when re printing. In fact, it's mainly because the people who first published this edition didn't make a good print record

in view of this, the author designed a record form for the plate making personnel, requiring the plate printing personnel to make all records in the form and receive the paper. The recorded parameters include exposure, drying time and temperature. If some special methods are used, they must be written in the remarks for reference by other plate printing personnel when they make plates again

4. Pay attention to the prepress proofreading system and the customer sample signing system

after designing the graphic content to be printed for the customer, the designer must ask the customer to confirm the graphic in the form of signature or email. Otherwise, once an error causes the customer to return to the printing factory, the designer will bear all the responsibilities

generally, it is recommended that the label printing enterprise set up two designers. Once the customer confirms the correctness of the printed text, before and after the release of the film, the two designers can check the live parts designed by the other party again, and then hand over the sample drawing and film to the plate maker after confirming the correctness

before printing, the plate maker should recheck the film according to the sample drawing to ensure that the film content is consistent with the sample drawing before printing

5. Management of printing plate, film and die-cutting knife plate

the management of printing plate, film and die-cutting knife plate is also a very important work in printing enterprises. Because if it is well managed, it will bring great convenience to the subsequent printing production. On the contrary, it is likely to cause repeated plate making, which will bring unnecessary human and material losses of points c and C1 to the enterprise

the company where the author used to work once failed to find the printing plate when printing, the die-cutting blade when cutting, and the film when printing due to the chaotic management of the printing plate, film and die-cutting blade. Using the wrong film, printing plate and repeated plate making often happen. In order to manage the above items in an orderly manner, the following work should be done well

(1) divide the film into major categories according to customers, and then divide it into sub categories according to product name, and store it in the folder. For example, first put all the films of a customer into a folder, and then sub package all the films of the customer in alphabetical order. At the same time, keep the electronic version in the computer. In the future, after receiving the production notice, the designer can first check whether the film has been produced in the computer. If the film has been produced, the production notice can be directly handed over to the plate maker for printing

(2) the management method of printing plates is similar to that of film. After classifying printing plates according to customers, all printing plates under the customer's name are archived and classified in alphabetical order. At the same time, keep the corresponding electronic version on the computer for the production management department to inquire

(3) according to the shape, the die-cutting blade plate can be divided into three categories: square, round and abnormal. It should be classified according to the module and specification of the plate, and put into different filing cabinets. It should be noted that often a live part corresponds to a die-cutting blade, so when classifying the die-cutting blade, set a number for each die-cutting blade. In the daily production process, the number of the die-cutting blade used in the production label should be written on the production notice and the sealed sample. When the label is produced again in the future, the corresponding die-cutting blade can be found according to the number
